Out of Commission

Excruciating headache today. I've suffered from them all my life and they take a while to resolve. Hopefully I'll get some narcotic relief tomorrow. ER's an unlikely possibility because physicians often don't care about pain if the condition isn't potentially fatal (my personal thanks to the Neanderthals that make up the DEA). I'd love to smoke a big fat joint right now but, alas, none is available and, besides, cannabis isn't covered by my insurance. Maybe it's time to start growing poppies for The Pope's favorite beverage, poppy tea.
